Long-Term Gains In Minority Education: An Overlooked Success?


Low expectatio­ns are a significan­t factor in low student achievemen­t. My students and parents are pleased, and at times shocked at the rigorous and challengin­g curriculum I provide. We need to have great expectatio­ns for all students no matter what the socioecono­mic status of our students! Students rise to the challenge and are inspired when teachers believe in them!
